Public Relations has been in practice since long before internet was invented. In modern society, most companies/organizations utilize technology to enhance their company. Without technology, most companies will not be as big as they are. For example, Amazon is one of the biggest companies in the world, without Internet there would be no Amazon due to it strictly being a digital app/website.
Prior to having computers accessible, mass media would entail messages via newspaper, magazine, television, and radio. Many other aspects of public relations were also more difficult including crisis communication, Community engagement, and advertising/marketing.
